Undergraduate scholarships for applicants from the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland
A list of scholarships for applicants that will have a Scottish or Rest of UK fee status
All scholarships are awarded as partial fee reductions to support students with tuition costs.
Applicants from Scotland 2026/27
Students who are classified as having a Home (Scottish) fee status may be eligible for the following awards:
You may be eligible for £1,500–£2,500 per year of undergraduate study, depending on your individual eligibility (terms and conditions apply):
- £2,500 per year for students studying Medicine or Dentistry
- £1,500 for immediate family members of University of Dundee Alumni

Applicants from England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Republic of Ireland 2026/27
Every eligible student from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland receives a £2,000 bursary in their first year.
You may also be eligible for (terms and conditions apply):
- £3,000 bursary per year if you have AAB in your A-levels
- £2,000 bursary per year if your household income is below £25,000
- £2,500 bursary per year for students studying Medicine or Dentistry
- £1,500 scholarship against fees in Year 1, if a member of your immediate family is a University of Dundee graduate
