Undergraduate scholarships for applicants from East Asia

A list of scholarships for applicants that will have an International fee status and be domiciled in China, Hong Kong - SAR of China, Japan, Macau - SAR of China, Mongolia, North Korea, South Korea, or Taiwan

We do not offer fully funded scholarships

All scholarships are awarded as partial fee reductions to support students with tuition costs.

2026/27

If you: 

  • are classified as having  International fee status
  • hold an offer to study on one of our eligible undergraduate courses (excluding Medicine, Dentistry) and
  • are domiciled in an Eastern Asian country

You may be eligible for one or more of the following scholarships, depending on whether you meet the specific criteria for each award:

  • £3,000 – in the first year only, for University of Dundee Alumni and immediate family members of Alumni
  • £4,000 per year of study, or
  • £7,500 per year – If you hold AAB at A-Level (or equivalent)

Important: Each scholarship has its own eligibility requirements. Meeting the general conditions does not guarantee you will receive all listed awards.
