University to host 2026 Legal Recruitment Fair
Some of the UK’s leading law firms will attend the University of Dundee next week in a bid to attract the next generation of top legal talent.

More than 30 leading law firms will attend the University’s Bonar Hall on Tuesday 6 October for the 2026 Legal Recruitment Fair. The event provides hundreds of students and graduates with the chance to deliver their verdict on potential employers, who will showcase career and internship opportunities.
Alison Mackay, from the University’s Career Service, said, “The University of Dundee Law School has always been highly regarded for the quality of its teaching. That is why every year hundreds of our graduates begin their careers and go on to form an integral part of legal systems in the UK and around the world.
“Introducing potential employers to our students is an important step in that process, allowing the next generation of legal talent to choose the right path for them, while allowing recruiters to learn more about prospective employees.”
This year’s fair will see a total of 32 companies in attendance. The event follows the University’s rise in several important UK rankings tables, with Dundee placed in the top 20 in the 2027 edition of The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, 12th in the Daily Mail University Guide, 21st in The Guardian University Guide, and 25th in the Complete University Guide. The Guardian also ranked Dundee the top law school in Scotland and ninth overall in the UK.
As Dundee offers dual qualifications in Scots and English Law, the fair attracts firms from across the UK, including multinationals. While the quality of Dundee students helps to attract employers to campus, students and graduates of any university are welcome to attend. Entry is free with no need to pre-register.
The Dundee Legal Recruitment Fair takes place in the Bonar Hall, Park Place, on Tuesday 6 October from 11:00-14:30.
