Teaching

A variety of teaching methods will be used, depending on the module you choose to study. They can include:

  • small group teaching
  • supervised study
  • seminars
  • presentations

Some of the teaching happens in the early evening, to allow attendance by part-time and full-time students alike. Other classes may be scheduled for the mutual convenience of staff and students.

If you need to acquire or improve your foreign language skills to enhance your postgraduate studies, (e.g. to read texts in a native language), you can enrol on a Languages for All course.

Assessment

We use a range of assessments, which will depend on the module you choose. They can include:

  • coursework assignments
  • presentations
  • essays
  • course journals

There are no exams.

We're testing a new way of showing modules on the website

This list should give you a good idea of which modules you can take, however it may change before you begin your course, and may not show all available modules.
