Application deadline

30 June 2024

This practice-led project aims to forefront working-class lived experience to produce new experimental, interdisciplinary writing. Drawing upon the confluence of the formal and informal to embody and to examine innovative forms of original writing, this project does not take modes of narrative storytelling for granted, rather it seeks to develop new ways of looking at the working-class lived experience through radical experimentation. By situating the research within recent examples of such writing, incorporating auto-theory, experimental fiction and performance writing, this PhD will test the liminal, giving voice to previously unprivileged viewpoints and methods.
