Biography
Dr Harpur graduated from Edinburgh university with the following qualifications: BMSc First Class Honours in Medical Microbiology (1999) and MBChB (2002).
Her medical background is in general practice, after qualifying in 2007 and she has experience working in Australia, New Zealand and all over Scotland. Since 2011 she has worked in medical education in a variety of roles, including as a GP tutor, clinical skills teaching fellow and communications skills tutor.
She is currently working towards her Masters in Medical education, where her interest lies in clinical skills teaching and supporting students. Her current medical education roles are as a module lead for Gateway to medicine 'orientation to clinical studies' and in undergraduate medicine educational guidance/student support.
