Biography
I trained as a General adult Psychiatrist and worked in both in-patient and community settings for 15 years and now lead the Tayside Perinatal Community Mental Health Team.
Teaching responsibilities as Year 4 & 5 convenor in the undergraduate MBChB programme I have a lot of experience in aspects of curriculum planning, assessment and student support.
Research
Previous research projects include; the pharmacogenetics of antidepressant response, genetic factors in Bipolar Affective Disorder and medical student attitudes to psychiatry.
Teaching
Year 4 & 5 Phase convenor of the medical undergraduate curriculum.
