Research
Investigating the feasibility of clinical research in dental outreach clinics, through delivering a randomised controlled cluster study within the clinics. This study investigated the effectiveness of oral hygiene instruction on the periodontal health of primary care dental outreach patients.
Attitudes, facilitators and barriers to clinical research in dental outreach were explored by structured interview, focus group work and questionnaires to assess overall feasibility.
