Guohao Lin

Guohao holds an MEd in Sports Rehabilitation and a BSc in Physical Therapy (China). He has an MSc in Human Anatomy from the University of Dundee and for his MSc dissertation, he explored the changes in the length of deep cervical muscles in forward head posture simulated in Thiel cadavers. Given forward head posture and other postural deviations are increasingly associated with changes of our working mode and lifestyle, knowledge on chronic and acute impacts of postural deviations is warranted to alleviate latent symptoms and restore anatomical structures. This research led to his PhD project that started in 2020 focusing on the impact of human postural deviations and factors that influence physical performance.
