I qualified as a registered nurse in 1991 in Glasgow. I have had a varied career in a range of clinical areas in both Scotland and England. In 2005 I undertook a Specialist Practice degree in Community Nursing in the Home and spent several years as a Community Charge Nurse in Fife. In 2009 I joined University of Dundee as an Associate Lecturer before joining the staff full-time as a Lecturer in Adult Nursing in 2010. I moved to another university in Scotland as Lecturer in Community Nursing in 2013. In 2015 I returned to the University of Dundee and am based in Kirkcaldy Campus as Lecturer and Admissions Tutor. I have retained a clinical role in District Nursing.
