Gerry Roarty

As a Lecturer in Technology Enhanced Learning, I am keen to promote and support ways of using technology to support learning, teaching and assessment. I am the School’s Digital Champion.

I provide vision for the use of educational technologies and champion’s usability, digital literacies, accessibility and inclusive practice when contributing the design of blended and online delivery of teaching programmes.

I have worked in eLearning in Further Education and in Higher Education for over 10 years and have been with the School since 2015.

As part of his ongoing professional development I hold a Postgraduate Certificate Teaching Qualification in Further Education (TQFE) from Stirling University (2010) , a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice in Higher Education (University of Dundee) and an MSc in Blended and Online Learning (Edinburgh Napier University). I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
