Biography
I joined the University of Dundee in 2013 to work in initial teacher education after spending sixteen years in Secondary Education firstly teaching biology and as Principle Teacher of Guidance and Pupil Support.
Research
My research interests are in the area of health and wellbeing, equity in education and transitions. I am also interested in innovative approaches to supporting student attainment in higher education.
Teaching
I teach on both MA and PGDE around the areas of Health and Wellbeing. In addition, I am module leader on the M.Ed for both Wellbeing in Young People, Supporting Learners and Teaching and Learning for Equity.
