Biography
Dr Dhan Senaratne is a Specialty Registrar in Anaesthesia & Chronic Pain and a Clinical Fellow on the Multimorbidity PhD Programme for Health Professionals. This is a Scotland-wide initiative funded by the Wellcome Trust that recruits healthcare professionals from a range of clinical backgrounds to address the substantial challenges posed by increasing multimorbidity in Scotland, with the support and resources of the Universities of Glasgow, Dundee, Edinburgh, and St Andrews.
Dhan studied Medicine at the University of Cambridge. He spent five years working in the Oxford region, a year in New Zealand, and three years in Glasgow, before joining the University of Dundee and NHS Tayside in November 2022.
Current Projects
The ACE-MAP Study – a study looking at the impact of adverse childhood experiences on sensory thresholds in adults living with chronic pain and multimorbidity.
