Colin Raeburn

Colin Raeburn is a designer, art director, photographer and lecturer in Communication Design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in both the Graphic Design and Illustration departments.



He graduated in 1992 from DJCAD in Graphic Design and Typography and has worked in private practice since then. He joined the lecturing staff in 2020, having previously assisted as a visiting tutor to the Illustration department at DJCAD.



He is a considerably experienced art director and graphic designer having worked in some of Scotland's leading design studios. He co-founded the design consultancy Graphical House in 1992, and continues to work as a freelance consultant and photographer. As a photographer his work includes architectural, documentary, landscape, and portrait photography. His design working practice has covered the UK, USA, Europe, the Middle and Far East.
