Colette Henderson

Mrs Colette Henderson qualified as a registered nurse in Edinburgh in 1991. Since then she has worked in a variety of clinical roles predominantly in primary care settings. In 1999 she undertook a Nurse Practitioner degree programme and since then has worked in advanced practice roles in Fife and Tayside. In 2006 in collaboration with the Scottish Ambulance Service, she established the ‘See and Treat’ service in NHS Fife, the first national service of this type. Colette was the non-medical prescribing advisor in NHS Fife from 2008-2010 and has maintained a clinical role until 2016.She worked for 3.5 years at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, before moving to work at the University of Dundee in 2017.
