You will gain insight into the principles and practice of environmental assessment, review obligations imposed on developers, resource managers and planners, in the design and delivery of sustainable policies, programmes and projects. Students consider the methodology and application of environmental assessment and sustainability appraisal techniques, considers evidence on their effectiveness and reviews practical examples.
