This module covers the law of transport. You will study the rules that govern movement by sea, air, road, and rail. You’ll focus on both domestic law and international law in each of these areas.

Transport law is vital for the functioning of the UK economy and world trade. An understanding of these legalities is important for lawyers in many different areas of practice.

You’ll also discuss UK government transport policy over the last 200 years and look at how public international law and private international law intersect with domestic law in these areas.

You will study law in context. This means following it from policy to implementation to outcome. You will draw on your own experience to judge how well it works.
