Final Project for Global Public Health module (GM52068)
Apply your global public health learning to a collaborative project. You'll identify a real public health issue, design an AI-integrated intervention, and present your findings
The final project brings together the knowledge and skills developed across your programme and applies them to a real-world public health challenge.
Working in pairs, you'll choose a global public health issue — drawing on sources such as the WHO Global Health Observatory data repository — and develop an original intervention that incorporates AI and is applicable to your own country or region. This involves a thorough, structured literature review, critical analysis of the problem, and consideration of ethical issues, barriers, enablers, and resources.
The project emphasises teamwork, critical thinking, and communication for diverse audiences. You'll present your work in three formats: an A2 infographic poster describing the key stages of the project; a recorded joint presentation aimed at healthcare professionals, policymakers, or patients and carers; and a reflective podcast in which you and your partner interview each other to critically reflect on the project experience and your teamwork.
The module is delivered fully online, with weekly discussion boards and interdisciplinary tutor support throughout.

This module does not have a final exam.
