Aims
- To engage students in advanced study of the dynamic field of political geography, making connections between global, national and local scales.
- To encourage students in a critical assessment of Political Geography and to engage with contemporary theoretical approaches to the subject.
- To explore critical geopolitical approaches through a variety of case studies of political debates and conflicts.
- To develop skills in critical reading, fieldwork and analytical writing in both supervised and independent research.
