Aims

• To expand students' understanding of the role of place and space in the social and cultural construction of childhood(s)
• To develop students' knowledge of the ways in which children and young people use and experience different environments
• To elucidate the key theoretical perspectives used by geographers and others who study children and young people
• To engage with methodological innovations in research with young people
