Description

Writing a European Studies dissertation gives you the opportunity to:

  • develop your research skills,
  • engage in an in-depth study of a topic of your own choice,
  • undertake a piece of genuinely independent European studies research work,
  • foster your investigative, creative and organisation skills which are necessary not only in European studies research, but also in many areas of graduate employment.

All Joint Honours European Studies and European Languages and Culture degree students are required to undertake a Dissertation.

The choice of your topic will be made after consultation with the European Studies Co-ordinator. If you are interested in doing a European Studies dissertation, you should make initial contact with the European Studies Programme Co-ordinator.
