This module aims to provide you with practical health education experiences. These are tailored to your specific learning requirements as an educator.

What you will learn

In this module, you will:

  • negotiate and optimise learning opportunities in the context of health education
  • learn to implement new ways of supporting learning. You will build upon current and emerging understandings of health professional education and reflection

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • show learning acquired from a diverse range of learning and teaching experiences within health professional education. You will be able to evidence a critical understanding of underpinning theories and principles
  • identify and negotiate learning opportunities. These will be designed to bridge and advance a critical perspective on the theory and practice of health professional education
  • develop original and creative responses to problems and issues identified
  • critically reflect on personal experiences of supporting learning and clearly articulate related learning
  • develop a strategy for initiating and sustaining best practice in health professional education in your own work context. You will be able to evidence informed judgement and substantial autonomy
