This module aims to develop the skills of health professionals in supporting learners and fostering resilience in a range of contexts (i.e. higher education institutions and the workplace) through engaging activities which bridge theory and practice issues. 

By the end of this module, students should be able to: 

  • Reflect critically on the relationship between learner resilience and educational support 
  • Critically reflect upon the multi-dimensional factors needed to provide effective supervision and/or mentoring 
  • Design a contextually relevant educational support programme 
  • Appraise their own learning needs to inclusively and effectively support learners
