You will deepens your understanding of cell signalling at a research level. You will study the LRRK2 pathway and its links to Parkinson's disease, signalling in stem cells and neurodevelopmental disorders, targeted protein modification for the modulation of signalling pathways, innate and adaptive immune signalling, and ubiquitin-based pathways with therapeutic potential. The module develops your skills in critically reading and appraising the scientific literature, scientific writing and presenting research findings, alongside deepening your understanding of this fast-moving field.
What you will learn

- Study targeted protein modification systems and their potential therapeutic applications
