A large bronze medieval cauldron with a round body and a large outward angled rim at the top. A curved iron handle hangs from connections on each side of the rim. The cauldron stands on three tripod legs attached to the bottom. These have a slight outward angle and resemble horse hooves. The outside of the cauldron has a yellowish brown colour and smooth slightly shiny surface which is covered in soot on the bottom. The inside has a slight blueish green patina.
