About
We collaborate on projects covering all aspects of bioinformatics and data analysis, ranging in size from those requiring a few hours work to those requiring a dedicated postdoctoral researcher hosted in the group. Examples of the areas in which we can work include (but are not limited to):
- RNA-Seq analysis
- ChIP-Seq analysis
- ATAC-Seq analysis
- Genome assembly and annotation
- Genomic variant identification and analysis
- Metagenomics
- Proteomics data analysis
- Statistical analysis
- Data Visualisation
- Analysis software development
Since the group was established in 2006, we have collaborated on more than 350 projects primarily within the Schools of Life Sciences and Medicine, but also with groups from across, and outside, the University.
We offer training through a series of modular courses ranging from Introductions to Linux, through High-throughput Sequence analysis to modules dedicated to the analysis of different techniques such as RNA-Seq and small genome assembly.
