The information below tells you what do with the different types of emails you'll find in your Junk Email.
What to do with spam and phishing emails
Report to Microsoft using our web guide before deleting from your Deleted folder. This also applies if found in your Inbox.
What to do with a legitimate email
1. Click the message in your Junk Email folder
2. Click Mark as not junk or Not junk using one of the following options:
- the Home tab
- the drop-down menu beside Reply all
- right-click the message
If you receive a junk email in your Inbox
1. Click the message in your Inbox folder
2. Click Mark as junk or Junk using one of the following options:
- the Home tab
- the drop-down menu beside Reply all
- right-click the message
