Seagate Skate is a multipurpose skate park, which aims to create an environment that encourages, excites and expresses street culture in Dundee through skateboarding, fashion, art and community. Located on the south plot of the Seagate Bus Station it runs along Mary Ann Lane which is a current legalised graffiti zone in Dundee, thus encouraging the creatives of this generation. The design focuses to implement the vibrant culture associated with skate and graffiti and create an open and progressive environment for people to learn and explore. The four main zones located on the site allow the people of Dundee to explore what street culture has to offer from the two skate parks, a café and observation space as well as a concept store for Ozzy’s a fashion and skate shop.
