I'm Intrigued by effects that we see in day to day life and how they translate into the world of animation.
Compositing fulfils my technical side and the drive to problem solve in a creative environment.
The constant innovation and experimentation that comes with both of the specialisms is what excites me the most.

I've pursued personal projects to deepen my understanding of 2D special effects. My main goals included improving and furthering my understanding on choreography, timing and movement in environmental effects.

Collaborating across multiple short films I had the opportunity to expand my skills in 2D and 3D compositing in a wide range of styles. Troubleshooting technical issues and finding creative solutions to challenges that arise during the making of a short film was a big part of my role in this specialism and it allowed me to expand my skills and be better prepared for entering the industry with a widened understanding of the production pipeline.
