Transitions Community Compass series - June 2023

Dr Jenny Preston will share her lived experience of two cancer diagnoses. She will offer a perspective as someone who has experienced cancer and the transitions throughout her journey within the context of her roles as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend. She will then explore this through an occupational lens accessing theories of transitions in her role as an occupational therapist situating her lived experience within a theoretical framework to enhance experiential learning and knowledge creation.
