Are you heading into your final year of study this September? The Careers Service is here to help you get from A to B with a full-day online careers event, designed to support you in navigating your career path through final year and beyond.
Throughout the day, you’ll:
- Reflect on your successes and identify your strengths
- Set clear career goals with expert guidance
- Learn about graduate jobs and when to apply
- Gain practical tips for selling yourself on CVs and applications
What’s on the programme?
- Choosing the career that’s right for you
- Make the most of your final year: transferable skills, networking, LinkedIn and more
- What is a graduate job? An overview of graduate roles, schemes and where to find opportunities
- Where do I start with my CV and applications – and how can AI help?
- Beyond Summer 2027: work, further study, gap year, travelling… and SMART goal setting to get there!
There will be options to interact and ask questions in the session, or you can just log on to the event and listen, whichever you prefer.
Hosted online, so you can join from wherever you are in the world!

The joining link will be sent out to you the day before the session (on a Friday if the event takes place on a Monday) and again 1 hour before the session is due to start.
