Using tools from Vitae (a global leader supporting professional development of researchers), participants will consider choices open to researchers within and beyond academia.  They will evaluate where their strengths lie and how their research-developed skills and attributes can be transferred to a range of career options.  They will be encouraged to tap into their own network for career progression.

Aims and Objectives

By the end of the session, you will:

  • Have a clearer understanding of career options open to you
  • Know how to harness the power of your network for career progression
  • Have identified your values, skills and motivations
  • Have an action plan in place for your next steps
