Join these relaxed crafting sessions for a chance to get up close and creative with the University of Dundee Museums' collections and discover fascinating artefacts from the University's history.

Come and visit the Global Room (in College Hall, behind the Tower Building) on a Wednesday afternoon between 3 and 4.30 pm to discover some of our fascinating objects and take inspiration from them in a relaxed setting. You will be provided with all the materials you need to create miniature artworks and crafts to take home as a reminder of what you discovered that day.

This time we'll be taking inspiration from our incredible insect collections. After taking a look at some of the drawers of insects, we'll create our own 'bug in a box' to take home.

Mindful crafting sessions are part of the University of Dundee Museums’ well-being initiative, helping you discover new areas of the University, engage with its artworks, artefacts, culture and heritage, and meet others with a shared interest. The aim is to encourage you to engage with arts and heritage and provide more diverse opportunities to benefit well-being. They will help us connect, be active, keep learning and be mindful.
