Light Show - Cyanotype workshop

To accompany our exhibition Light Show in the Lamb Gallery, join us for this special creative workshop. Artist Kit Martin will introduce you to the art of the cyanotype, an early photographic process that does not need a camera. Working with chemicals, light and objects, you will make blue and white prints on paper, the number of which will depend on the strength of the sun that evening! Kit will provide everything you need including paper and objects to make exposures with, but feel free to bring your own flat things to try printing with (for example plants, feathers, lace, stencils, photo negatives). We’ll also try finding things outside the Tower Building that we can use.

Please meet in the Lamb Gallery on the first floor of the Tower Building. We will be working both inside and outside so please dress appropriately. The event is suitable for adults and for creative children aged 7+. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
