How do you make a comic? This exhibition is designed to strip away some of the process's mysteries.

It focuses on comics production and how the process has changed over time.

As well to some stunning artwork, the exhibition also features fascinating examples of printing plates, corrections, colour proofs and more.

Some examples are from major publishers, while others are by independent artists creating self-published work.

The University of Dundee Museums hold Scotland’s only public collection of original comics art, a cornucopia of creativity from both Scottish and international creators.

This exhibition has been guest-curated by Zu Dominiak, comics creator, curator, lecturer and a former AHRC-funded intern with Museum Services.
