Bio
Ed carried out his PhD at the University of Cambridge with Doug Fearon looking at the regulation of T cells by fibroblasts before moving to the University of California San Francisco where he was a postdoctoral fellow with Max Krummel. There he started studying the role of migratory conventional dendritic cells in initiating anti-tumour T cell responses in the lymph node. In 2019 he started his group at the CRUK Scotland Institute in Glasgow where his lab studies how tissue signals are relayed to the lymph node to direct T cell differentiation and how this goes awry in cancer.
