UoD Careers have developed a 1 day-long programme of online events running on Tuesday 26th May to help you navigate life after graduation via practical careers-based advice, guidance and support.
This is an online webinar packed with careers sessions aimed at supporting you in your next step.
The event is aimed at final year students of any course at the University of Dundee. The session is structured with screen-breaks throughout the day.
Participation is always encouraged and will mostly be through the chat function of BlackBoard Collaborate. If you'd prefer, you're welcome log on and just listen. Joining instructions to be sent 7 days before – with a reminder 24 hours before.

- 11.10 - 11.30: Break
- 11.30 - 12.00: Get your application noticed!
- 12.00 - 12.40: Answer interview questions with confidence
- 12.40 - 13.30: Lunch
- 13.30 - 14.10: Getting started with LinkedIn, networking and finding hidden jobs
- 14:10 - 14:20: Break
- 14:20 - 15:00: Secrets of assessment centres and psychometric testing - how to improve your score
- 15:00 - 15:30: Postgraduate study options including staying at Dundee
- 15:30 - 16:00: Graduating and staying connected with the University of Dundee
- 16:00 - 16:15: Event close and how to access ongoing support from your university careers service
