What can an Accountancy or Business degree really lead to?
Join us for an Ask Alumni Session with Marc Couttie, Head of Finance at MacIntyre Chocolate Systems and Probat.
After graduating in 2008 with a BA in Accountancy, Marc has built a career leading finance across international manufacturing businesses. In this session, he’ll share how he moved from university into senior leadership — and how the skills gained during his degree continue to shape his career.
You’ll gain insight into:

- How adaptable an accountancy or business degree can be
- What employers look for — and how to stand out
Whether you’re studying Accountancy, Finance, or another Business degree, this session will help you see the bigger picture and start thinking strategically about your future.
This session may also appear in your timetable — so take full advantage. Come along, ask questions, and discover where your degree could take you.
Target Audience:
- UoD School of Business students, staff and alumni.
