We’re committed to giving our students the best possible experience at Dundee. Yet, we know students face growing pressures. Living costs are increasing, needs are changing, and unexpected challenges emerge throughout the year. These pressures can strip away the positive, transformative experience every student deserves and jeopardise their success.
The Student Experience Fund helps every aspect of student life. Your gift to the Fund is the most powerful way to ensure that students can embrace an enriching university experience that will shape their future.
You can make a difference
In the colder months, the Fund could help increase discretionary funding awards, helping students meet rising living costs during winter. At other times, it might fund scholarships for refugees fleeing war, create inclusive spaces across campus, or run well-being sessions for disengaged students.
While we can’t predict every challenge, we do know that your gift will enable the University to provide the right support at the right time, giving students everything they need to feel inspired, supported and prepared for life when they graduate.
Your gift could support a wide range of initiatives that enhance the student experience at Dundee, for example:
- Delivering Access Summer School: A free six-week course that breaks down barriers to higher education, specifically for students whose backgrounds or circumstances might hold them back.
- Strengthening well-being services that help students stay healthy, resilient, and supported.
- Improving community and belonging by funding activities, spaces, and initiatives that help students connect, feel included, and be part of university life.
- Providing emergency discretionary funding so students can focus on their studies, not their finances.
