How we use your information

To assess eligibility for this scholarship, we require some of your personal data.

The personal data you provide will be used to inform the scholarship decision making process, to send you information on the outcome of your application and any further relevant information on financial support.

We will respect your preferences concerning the ways in which we may contact you. If you wish to update these at any time, please let us know by emailing goabroad@dundee.ac.uk

Personal data

The personal data we require is first name, surname, student ID, email address, fee status and information on your financial circumstances. Any part time work and funding information you share may also be noted against your record. 

Sensitive personal data

No sensitive personal data is required from you in the completion of this form.

Data controller

The data controller for your personal information is the University of Dundee. Your data may be processed by the University’s nominated agents such as software or service providers. This may include the processing of your information outside the European Economic Area. To process your request, we may use a number of software services, including Stakeholder Management (to store the details of your enquiry), Outlook (to respond to your enquiry) and Campaign Monitor (to send newsletters, if you have consented).

Lawful processing

The University asserts that it is lawful for it to process your personal data for the purposes detailed above in its legitimate interests and that any processing is without prejudice to your rights and freedoms.

The University asserts that it will be lawful for it to process your personal information after 25 May 2018 in the exercise of its official authority and/or further to the contract (or potential contract upon enquiry) between you and the University.

The University respect your rights and preferences in relation to your data.
