Procedure
Annual review and renewal of partnerships
Updated on 6 January 2022
The Global Partnerships annual review process aims to provide central oversight of collaborative partnership activity across the University. Schools can also review and feedback on their partnerships.
Partnerships are tiered based on risk and financial factors to allow for a proportionate level of review relating to the level of partnership.
- Tier A - Double/Dual/Joint Awards/JEIs and JEPS
- Tier B - 2+2 and higher risk articulations
- Tier C - Lower risk articulations (3+1+1 and single pathway articulations)
- Tier D - Memorandum of Understanding/Letter of Intent
Process
The review process begins in August each year and Schools are asked to submit review documentation by the end of October.
Review meetings between the Schools and Global Partnerships are arranged for the end of the year, if possible.
Schools can raise points of concern and highlight areas of good collaborative partnerships.
Renewing of contracts
Global Partnerships will notify Schools before contracts expire.
Schools will be asked to confirm if they wish to renew the contract.
