Become a Student Content Creator

Help us give prospective students the inside scoop into what it’s really like to live and study in Dundee!

Are you passionate about creating content? 

We're looking for confident and creative Student Content Creators who will help us show why Dundee is a great place to study.

The content you create will vary, but could include creating video content for University social media channels (including Instagram and TikTok) and writing blogs and articles for our website. You can also feature in photoshoots, and so much more!

Job description

The following tasks will be involved in this role:

  • pitching and taking on content ideas
  • writing, filming, and editing content
  • collaborating with other Student Content Creators
  • working closely with Digital and Marketing teams
  • attending regular meetings to brainstorm
  • taking part in training sessions

How to apply

  • Create a short video (30 seconds – 1 minute) where you describe your Dundee experience so far.
    • You can speak about; your course, friends, the city, student life, or whatever else you think fits.
    • This can be filmed on mobile – please film in portrait (9:16).
    • This is your chance to show us your unique perspective and creativity. Make it your own!
  • Submit your application form and video by 23:59 on Sunday 4 January 2026.
  • If successful in the application stage, you will be invited to attend an informal interview wc 12 January, where you will discuss your submitted content and why you applied for this role.
