For over 30 years, our Access Summer School programme has provided a vital pathway to university for prospective students facing obstacles to higher education. These obstacles can be varied.

Some students might have narrowly missed the grades they needed, while others are overcoming significant and complex personal challenges. Since 2020, 1,438 students have participated in our free, five-week programme, with an impressive 73% going on study at the University of Dundee, opening doors to life-changing opportunities and long-term success.

The University proudly supports Access Summer School, but rising costs now require an average of £1,000 per student. With hundreds of participants each year, we urgently need your help. Your support will help sustain this vital programme, ensuring that brilliant minds, brimming with potential, do not miss out on a university education because of their background.
