Biography
Sharon lecturers in Community Learning and Development and has been a CLD practitioner for over twenty years. Sharon’s areas of interest are in equalities, community development and the power of voice through storytelling.
Sharon was, until recently, the Equalities’ Officer for the University and College Union in Scotland and won the STUC Equalities’ Award in 2017 for her work around disability in the workplace and continues her involvement with the University of Dundee UCU Branch, the UCU Academic-Related and Professional Service Committee, and is the current Chair of the STUC Disabled Workers’ Committee.
Sharon is a current Trustee of the Dundee Citizens’ Advice Bureau and the City of Dundee Educational Trust.
Sharon is a member of Court.
