This module covers commonly encountered aspects of family law legal practice. You will focus on divorce procedure, contact and residence issues, and alternatives to litigation. The module also covers cohabitation, prenuptial agreements, civil partnerships, and protection against domestic abuse.

investigate non-litigation alternatives in family law
examine cohabitation, prenuptial agreements, civil partnerships, and domestic abuse protection

understand the concept of matrimonial property
consider the significance of the child's perspective and how to deal effectively with Child Welfare Hearings
