Our Active Personal Training service is aimed at people aged 60 years and over or who have a chronic health condition. This service will offer one-to-one support through individualised, safe, and effective prescribed exercise.

Whether you need to start a fitness programme, get strong for surgery, or continue rehabilitation following treatment, this service is ideal for those looking for extra support in getting started and staying motivated.

Our qualified and experienced personal trainer (PT), Bronwen, will plan a gym-based programme that is tailored to you and will help you to achieve your goals. Bronwen has been a member of the PT team at the Institute of Sport and Exercise for years and has worked with people affected by cancer. Bronwen is also qualified to work with people with long term conditions and those who have been referred by their health care professional.
