Plenty to smile about as Dundee named top for Dentistry

The University of Dundee has been named as the best in the UK for studying Dentistry, according to new rankings.
The table, published by the Complete University Guide, shows that Dundee has retained its position as the best place for Dentistry students to study for a second consecutive year.
Professor Philip Preshaw, Dean of the School of Dentistry, said, “This is a tremendous achievement and once again reflects the commitment, enthusiasm, and sheer hard work of staff throughout the School.
“Finishing top of any ranking is a huge achievement, but maintaining that position is often even more challenging. It is a testament to everyone at the School that we have achieved this accolade, and we will strive to build further on this success and continue providing the highest standards of teaching and education for our students.”
Elsewhere, the rankings show that the University enjoyed strong showings in Medical Technology and Bioengineering, where Dundee is ranked second in the UK, and Medicine, where the University is ranked ninth.
