The final deadline for submission of scholarship applications is 31st August.
The scholarship will be awarded for each year of your course as long as you continue to make satisfactory progress through the degree programme. Your College has the right to stop the scholarship award if your academic performance falls below an acceptable standard. Overseas Student Scholarships do not cover periods of continuation when postgraduate students are no longer full-time, are writing up, or have submitted their theses for examinations.
You are eligible to apply for a scholarship if you are an overseas fee-paying student who has been offered a place on a full time taught postgraduate course in one of the Colleges listed above, for entry September 2010.
You are not eligible for a scholarship if you have been awarded any other University scholarship or if your studies are fully funded by a government or business sponsor.
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Your application will be assessed according to your existing and/or pending academic achievement and qualifications.
If you are successful in obtaining an offer for your desired course, you will be emailed a Scholarship application letter with your offer. You must return the completed form to the International Office. The International Office will contact you to inform you of the outcome of your scholarship application by letter or email.
The value of your scholarship package will be deducted from your tuition fees. This means that each year you will be asked to pay the standard annual overseas fee, minus the value of the scholarship.
