CLINICAL LECTURER IN CHEMICAL PATHOLOGY

Applications are invited from Chemical Pathology specialty trainees with outstanding potential to develop into a clinical academic leader. This post will provide clinical training in Chemical Pathology, along with an excellent opportunity to develop a research portfolio.
The post is part of the Scottish Clinical Research Excellence Development Scheme (SCREDS).
It is available to candidates who already hold a National Training Number in the relevant specialty. The successful applicant will hold an honorary clinical appointment as a Specialty Trainee in Chemical Pathology.
The lectureship is for the duration of remaining specialty training, i.e. up to 5 years, and the postholder will spend 20% of their time developing a relevant research programme. Research activities will be aligned with the Division of Respiratory Medicine & Gastroenterology, University of Dundee at the Ninewells Hospital & Medical School site.
