Matriculation for Medicine

Between 15:00 and 16:15, Thursday 12 September 2019

Register with a Doctor, Dentist, and Bank at Bonar Hall

You need to be registered with a local doctor (GP) to effectively access free NHS healthcare and prescription charges in Scotland. Hawkhill, Tay Court, and Ryehill will be here for registration.

You can have a free checkup at Dundee Dental Hospital and School or register with 146 Dental Care.
If you register with an NHS dentist, the checkups are free but you may have to pay for treatment. Those aged under 19 and in full-time education are eligible for free treatment.

For more information on registering and treatment costs, please check NHS Inform.

If you don't have a UK bank account, or need to update you current account to a student account with added benefits, there'll be staff from Clydesdale and Nationwide available to help.

The banks need to see a banking letter to confirm your student status. This can be printed from eVision once you have matriculated. They will also need to see photocopies of your passport, visa and BRP card, along with the original documents.

PCs and a photocopier will be available at matriculation for you to do this.

Other banks, dentists, and doctors are available throughout Dundee and Kirkcaldy.
Details of other GPs and dentists can be found at NHS 24
